Our Story

Our • Palate was inspired by the late great O.W. Gurley — prominent Black Businessman and considered by many to be the Father of Greenwood (aka Black Wall Street). Upon conceiving Our • Palate, we sought out a way to recreate this concept of a hub where our community can thrive and the Black Dollar can circulate more efficiently.

As a non-profit organization, we are dedicated to empowering the Black community through economic development and community engagement. Our team is made up of passionate individuals who share the vision of a prosperous and thriving Black community. We partner with local businesses and organizations to provide resources, support, and opportunities to Black entrepreneurs and community members.We believe that by working together, we can create a stronger and more equitable future for the Black community.
